Some helpful renewal tips:
1. All licensees are on the same cycle. Real Estate licenses expire every year. However, you only need to present proof of
12 continuing education credits (or hours) ON THE EVEN YEARS.
2. If you took the test for your broker’s license after March 31, 2010 or for your salesperson license after May 31, 2010,
you do not need to take continuing education classes for the 2012 renewal. You will need to take classes for the 2014
renewal. If you are unsure of the date, contact the Real Estate Commission immediately at 860-713-6150.
3. Any classes that you attend after June 1, 2010, which are approved for continuing education credit, can be used for the
2012 renewal. There is no grace period for license renewal. Expiration date listed on license.
4. All licenses, permits and registrations issued by the Department of Consumer Protection may be renewed online.
